Looking at the worse case scenario and we were winless we would probably only just slip into the play-off frame and I really can’t see that.

I really don't think that there is any comparison between us and Rylands. They are being bankrolled and are pretty much buying their way out of the league. This may be ok short term but as we know in the long run bankrollers get bored and the wheel will come off at some point.

With regards to Bootle, they are a well run club and are getting decent support. Their ground has changed considerably since we first visited and has had a lot of work completed on the clubhouse and new seated stands. They also seem to have a full compliment of advertising hoardings.

Finally, I think our dreadful home form has restricted us this season and we really need to attract some younger fans as were evident at Ramsbottom and Bootle this week.

Keep the faith, we'll be ok, but we need a good sort out in the close season!!
