Thanks for the info, unless I’m reading it wrong I think/hope you can get a train to Atherstone from Crewe without the need of getting a bus from Nuneaton, the ground doesn’t look too far from the station but maybe anyone who went this season can confirm.

Looking on-line there appear to be 2 trains per hour direct from Crewe to Nuneaton on Saturday, and the station to be 3/4mile from the ground. There is a bus but it takes as long as it does to walk. I was on the bus so have to assume the trainline and google maps are correct.

Google Maps suggest there is an West Midlands Railway service - Crewe to Milton Keynes which stops at Atherstone
🤔🤷‍♂️

Yep that’s the one I’ve seen, I just use the national rail website.

And there is even a train from Cambridge to Atherstone changing only at Nuneaton if anyone might want it.

Soooo looking forward to this game now. Sounds like Atherstone will be there in there numbers.

Could it go to penalties? Hope they practised them tonight and hopefully the keeper is not 6'7" like the one at OJM

It’s straight to penalties if level after 90 minutes - no extra time

Well let’s hope we can get our noses in front in normal time until the ref decides to blow - probably about 98 minutes 😁

I will be in contact with people about the coaches - which coach people are on. This will hopefully come out tomorrow

Coach 1 - will leave the Memorial Court at 11am
Coach 2 - will leave at 11.30am.

We are giving ourselves extra time, with it being the Bank Holiday weekend and the motorway may be busier.

I would be very grateful if people could arrange to pay before the day, so that we are not carrying lots of cash. This can be done by cash at the Supporters meeting on Thursday evening. Alternatively, if you would like to transfer the money then please message me on 07975679624 and I will provide bank details.

There may well be half a dozen spaces available, once I know everyone is accounted for. Again, I will advise tomorrow. If you are thinking of travelling, please let me know asap.

It looks like we will have a very good following, with others travelling by train and cars. I know the lads will appreciate the support, as always
