Lucas has signed for an NPL premier club ?

According to Workington FC website, Lucas has signed for them, so he will be playing in NPL West against 1874 next season. I’m sorry to see him go; not only is he a talented and capable footballer, but is also a genuine and pleasant lad. Wishing him every success, that is except when he plays against 1874.

That’s a good move for him, good luck. Elsewhere Rylands have signed Brooke from Runcorn, big signing that. We are miles away from being able to compete with those sides financially but looking forward to seeing who we bring in. Maybe we could get some a couple of decent loans, though not sure if that’s really a thing at our level?

I’m sure Goodie and Bows have players who will be joining us pre-season to train. As always we’ll will keep our powder dry until July 2nd to reduce the possibility of slip ups and misunderstandings?

Definitely, they have earned our trust.

Leek had a lad on loan from Liverpool last season & I think there were a couple of others we came up against.

We seem to have a good relationship with Salford at the moment, maybe something we could explore, I know witton have had good links with Crewe.

At the open meeting the other week Bow & Goody said that Salford & Wigan were happy to provide players to our U21s.
I'm not sure if they'll be allowed to play for the first team. You'd like to think so
