Lee Knight has signed for Rylands

Shame.

Rylands throwing a lot of money at it at the moment.

Spending a lot of money and not making many friends in the process (just take a look at what they did to the Rylands Rugby League team).
 
Sadly we can’t compete with that and regrettable as it seems to some, (perhaps?) neither should we consider trying to. Owners/investors come and go (as we’ve experienced in previous incarnations), but ‘74 are not here for the short term. That sort of budgetary bingo is not, and should never be, in its DNA
 
Interesting move for Lee as I don't see him getting a place in their front 3
 
Given Harry’s form and Ash joining, he’d dropped down the order in ours too. $ix of one, half a doz€n of another?

Like I said, shame he’s gone as he was a good player but as you rightly say, we shouldn’t live beyond our means.
 
Another big big loss for us that imo only weakens us further and strengthens Rylands ?

Yes Rylands flash the cash and two quality players go. Nice of Stu Wellstead networking our squad end of last season. #trojanhorse
 
To be fair, Tinning was third choice LB last season and LK was going to have to go some to dislodge Harry this season. If they get regular games at Rylands we shouldn’t be too displeased at that. Russy and Harry are man-for-man better players.

I agree that it would have been hard to get Lee in the team on the wing but I would have used him as a striker considering we could do with another one

He hasn’t been fit when we’ve needed that other striker though. My money says we’ll have another one by the time we play again - incl Jordan Bove.
