Whilst sat in our shop this morning an elderly gentleman walked in and asked when the 'other shop' would be open because he'd paid for a shirt last season and it's never open for him to pick it up. :(

After explaining that the 'other shop' was nothing to do with us, we explained our new club, he promptly paid for a polo shirt and left leaving an order for a second item.

Won't be long before we're being accused of poaching more JRFC fans and stealing more money from Rushe...:D

Not seen it open since we opened ours, mind you it could have been open today just the lights were off,No one was there and the door was locked.:D

Standard JRFC (lack of) effort.

The more Northwichers we can entice away from the 'dark side' the better, and a clear and sustained presence within the town centre will provide us with a great platform to do just that. :scarf:

To be fair (?) it is sustained by a volunteer workforce of 2-3(?), who will also have their work cut out with all the other activities the club is promoting in two local communities. And it doesn't have the mighty sales patter of a certain ex-serviceman to call on (see evidence above).
It was open (with door closed in welcoming fashion) on the morning of the Oldham game. Basking in reflected glory maybe.

Excuse me but I can't take any credit for selling the gentleman the articles of clothing, that was all down to Pam. I was merely an observer, learning the trade.

Tony, I knew you were pretty good at selling in the shop...but I think you are being given a run for your money by Pam. She is good! She is also good at encouraging the players (and giving the opposition what for!) and she is an awesome hat maker, her latest bespoke creation will be seen on my head as the weather draws colder!!

A wonderful volunteer who is working hard for her own club. Thanks Pam and thanks to everyone who are doing their bit :scarf:

She's Fantastic Vicki, an inspiration, so is Kev, he's a workaholic at the stadium and Aaron is a cheeky little sod who never fails to make me laugh...... They're all AWESOME.

I heard a brilliant story about the other shop, as I'm sure a lou of others did

Agreed we seem to have lots of tremendous people at our club, Will pay a visit to the shop tomorrow.

If Pam's in you'll be leaving with another polo shirt without knowing anything about it.;)

Plus scarf, hat, polo shirt, plus winter clothing etc, I have seen her in action, that walking stick bears no grudges if you buy !!.
