Suggestions Thread for new ideas to increase revenue streams

Untill you try you don't know how much response there will be, nothing tried nothing gained. Once set up it will take little time to run, that is unless orders from all over the world come flooding in. There is a lot of interest in English football in Asia and other such countries, maybe only for the Premiership teams but who knows what reaction a little team in Cheshire may achieve in the big world out there.
 
also it does not have to be just merchandise we could also sell donated goods, I would volunteer my house for a drop off place or I can collect, you know what they say one man's trash is another's man's treasure. Some books sell a lot especially children's series, ie nancy drew hardy boys and famous 5. the world is our oyster and whatever we sell we could add something about 1874 in with the package to raise more awareness. Its just an idea I know but mind is on overdrive at the mo LOL. ;-)
 
I am also starting to make necklaces, earrings and bracelets promoting the club and any sales from the the club will get half of the proceeds. As I said my mind has gone into to overdrive and want to help the club as much as possible. I may not be able to get to go to all the games but I still want to promote the club. :)
 
Check out how much Frickley F.C. have made, via ebay, off a donation of programmes made by a supporter who donated them in his will. Shows what can be achieved, I have few things that I would gladly donate as long as the account is set up with board approval and all proceeds are given directly to the club. I agree it doesn't have to be football related items, and the good thing is you would be targeting a different customer than our own supporter base. I am sure the board would support an idea like this as it would be all profit with no expenses. Would be an good idea to have a chat with one of the board members to ask them to discuss the possibilty at the next board meeting.

I would suggest that you contact Brian Edge as he is the fundraising/marketing guru for the club and brief him on your plan.

I really like that idea! Any chance of some pics?
 
Posters and pictures of the squad could be a good idea to add to our merchandise.
