Following on from Tuesday nights impressive away win at Congleton, were away again this time against West Didsbury...

In preseason we were comfortably leading West Didsbury 2-0 after goals by Mike Brandon and Matt Woolley, until two defensive errors resulted in a 2-2 draw, now comes the question for everyone...

What do you think the score will be and how many fans do you think will follow us to Chorlton?

I think this will be another game like Congleton. This team were mid-table last year and don't go down easy. We will have to be on our game again like Tuesday if we are to succeed. I'll be attending, so there's one slightly merry supporter, I'm sure there will be at least another 150 following me(not to the pub I hope!).

I watched them last season frustrate the hell out of Runcorn Linnets for a 0-0 draw. So I'll go for a 2-0 win. PLEEAASE!!

I will also be attending. I'll go for a hard-fought 3-0 win to 1874 with 150 greens travelling.

1-0 up at half time. Neil Chappell (groin) and Stu Wellstead (hamstring) have both been substituted due to injuries though.

Went in the lead early, and played decent in the first half. We just didn't show up in the first 30 of the second half and were lucky not concede.

End of the day it's an away win. Bring in Tuesday.

Good 3 points again today but we can't switch off at any stage on Tuesday or we will get battered, tbh I would take a point on Tuesday so I think we should play a 4-5-1 with a back 4 of Mitchell(if available), Aston, Thomas and Duckworth and a central midfield 3 of Wooley, Chappell (if fit) & Jones with Connor and Tandy/Welstead on the wings and Mike Brandon as the lone striker and have a bench of Woods, Bailey, Saki, Ward, Short, Beadle.

Just remembered that Welstead got injured today so probably won't be available on Tuesday so Tandy would be my option.

Fairly comfortable win. Thought we were in complete control in the first half but they came back strongly in the second half until Danny Thomas's header from the corner. Another three points ahead of the crunch game against Runcorn Linnets. Excellent 1874 turnout once again.

That makes out that west were all over us for 90 minutes. When in reality we were the better team for all but a 20 minutes spell in the 2nd half.

Would never of took them for bad losers.

Professional 3 points again.

Back 3 all did well but Thomas my MOM, Ward equally deserving though

Is someone going to post the highlights of the game described in that report? It seems there is a different game between the two teams currently on the 1874 TV site.

Dreadful, one-sided report. I think we all saw a very different game.
