JRFC Aftermath

If Vics supporters take over will they have to lodge a bond with the FA to guarantee they will finish the season? Both Wrexham and Chester supporters trusts had to do this when they took over. Wrexhams was in the region on £250,000 which they were given 48 hours to raise. It took a fan putting his house up as a guarantee to achieve this.

I just can't see the FA approving Vics fans as owners. They have no solid and creditable business plan yet or serious liquidatity behind them. Again Wrexham and Chester fans prepared for this in readiness for taking over. Without this I can't see the FA taking them seriously.

Can just imagine their trip to St Georges to explain their business plan to the FA. "Erm well it involves £5 a week and a one armed bandit!"

Lets be honest neither the individuals concerned have any credibility, business experience, or finance and yet the "Cunning plan" continues.

I wonder if they are going to be unwilling pawns in yet another takeover by another group of mystery investors and if so are they aware of that?

If that is the plan then yet again the local residents, local businesses and the taxpayer will suffer.

Barnton doesn't meet NWCFL Prem standard, let alone NPL

You realise that if they don't pay all their debts at 100p/£ they will be relegated at the end of the season AGM. Then if they are in a relegation position (with those -10pts included) they will be relegated again.

I make that NWCFL Divison One. Job done!

Spot on Mark. They need to finish out of the bottom 3 to avoid a double relegation.

I know I don't have much time for JR but I've never wished an amputation on him.
Well, not beyond his balls anyway. ☺

We were witness to a certain bespectacled vics fan feeding the fruit machines in the PB last Friday without success and wondered if it was part of the new money making scheme?

Why does a club have to go into Administration to find a new owner?
I thought Administration was solely to protect a business in financial trouble, write off and control finances. In any other forms of life if you want to sell something you put a price on it, advertise it and accept the best offer.

The JRFC business ethics stinks to high heaven, Rushe is the major creditor and will have the casting vote on agreed CVA, which should be 100p in the £. This will mean JRFC fans will have to take on a minimum £260,000 CVA. Unless Rushe writes off that directors loan but why would he unless there's something else lurking in the shallows.

Not the hands of the fans yet and struggling to make ends meet, would love to see that Business Plan.
I'd to have thought all funds including donations coming into JRFC would have to be submitted to the Administrator?

JRFC Business Plan
1. Income
We plan to have regular donation requests on Social Media.
We will also hold Bingo nights
Charity bucket collections will be split 50/50
200 Club will have 20 fans paying £10 each every week.
We regularly get gates of 150 every home match and will start charging the 80 inflatable fans.

2. Expenditure
We will operate within our means, everything will be accounted for correctly and when we overspend and can't pay our bills we'll use the Administration tool.

Presumably they want the donations etc to flow into the NVSA to avoid the administrator's grasp. Since that is a totally transparent and accountable democratically-run body, no doubt all of NVFC's creditors will happily confirm the continuation of any contractual obligations on this basis.

Is it legal for them to use the clubs name to ask for donations and then put them in to a separate account, an account that belongs to a potential buyer?
Seems like they are working against the Administrator, who would presumably need to know about all current running costs and legitimate sources for those running costs?

I have just read the JRFC statement again and I have noticed that in the second paragraph it says "The NVSA have expressed an interest in taking over the Club" and in the third paragraph that "Anyone with a serious interest in taking over the Club to contact the Administrator"

Does that mean that Mr Rushe Jr doesn't regard the NVSA interest as a serious one?

Personally I do not blame him!

You know how much I enjoy spreading JRFC rumours and speculation, well just had info wrt current situation and it seems possible that JRFC will receive a little more than just a 10 point deduction.

How on earth did JRFC get the players name and date of birth wrong?
A real shame that Shaw Lane are being penalised for a JRFC b**** up, surly the punishment should be the other way around. If Shaw Lane are liable for playing an ineligible player under his real name and DOB, then surly JRFC are too for playing a player under a false name and DOB. JRFC should have points deducted for every single match that Alexander (Alex) Byrne played, the punishment should also include the FA claiming back all the FA Cup prize money from last season.

I think the FA and League need to get a grip, Shaw Lane already disciplined, JRFC getting away with it and still haven't had their 10 points deducted for going into Administration.

On the basis of the actual fact is seems that Shaw Lane FC is the completely innocent party in this deceitful act.
Whether they are deemed that with the FA is something else, there is a clear case for an explanation from "elsewhere" !!.
