I'll start it off with two question's.
Which Street in the town was named as close to utopia you can get?.
Which pub used to be on old Warrington Road?.

What was the name of the band that played at the Winnington rec in the late 1950s and early 1960s.

The horse shoe was a pool of water shaped like a horse shoe at the end of danefield road

The horseshoe was an oxbow lake on the Dane, near the old vicarage in Danefields. Used to freeze in winter and we walk on it.
 
The name of the band was the Tommy Nichols Orchestra,they played at the Morg when it first opened.

Toddy I heard that the Beatles once played at the Morg. Is that correct and if so what year was it?
 
Correct ! Living a stones throw from the Morgue went to see them , absolute RUBBISH, must have improved as they went on !!.
 
They also crowned the Northwich Carnival Queen
