I would like to thank Paul Stockton for coming to visit me in Leighton hospital recently. I was stunned to see him standing at the foot of my bed when I glanced up from reading my Kindle. I'm at home at the moment but recovery is going to be about six months.
It made me proud to be a member of such a carinig football club and I might add it would never have happened with the old club.
He also brought me a Tee shirt, a cup and a card from the club, all of which I displayed with pride to the rest of ward 14. I was most grateful for the visit at the time, as it came when I was probably at my lowest. Thanks again to all at 1874 and I hope to back watching as soon as I can.
