Thanks Toddy.Mike Brandon 5 cup and 14 league goals and 4 friendly goals.
Ryan Jackson 4 cup goals and 11 league goals and 3 friendly goals.
No problem ToddyBlackie you are correct,I put one of his goals in the wrong column,I will amend my records..
PeteWith reference to the above mistakes in the stats I have now carefully checked all the archive stats.
The mistakes re Edwards/Ledwards as a sub and the wrong score for the Blackpool game are down to me and have been corrected.
With regards to Brandon and Jackson goals I can't explain that completely!! The archive shows the correct goals but I vaguely remember when compiling them that there was a query about those two and it took me ages to find the right totals. I can only assume that as I sent at least one provisional set of figures through before publication so that the type of info available could be assessed that it wasn't the final draft that went to the printers? Whatever Brandon scored 19 and Jackson 15.
Blackie is now about to receive the full set of archive files for all 3 seasons as a reward and, although he may not be aware of this yet, he has just been awarded the job of proof reading all next seasons stats before they go to the printers!!!
If anyone else would like the files please message me with your email address as I don't think I can attach them via the forum. They are excel files that will be more useful as time passes and the history builds and, as time catches up with all of us at some time, it means they can be carried on when I no longer do them.
Pete
Cant thank you enough, received the files and much appreciated....and will gladly proof read anything and let you know as and when (or should that be if), I spot anything that doesn't match up if that's ok with you.
Have questioned one more thing with Vicki as its showing this on the original archives too.
Last season v Padiham Oct 3rd...Ryan Stewart shown as no:3 and also as unused sub.
Awaiting reply with anticipation. .
I have a lot of catching up to do as I lost all my files when I spilt whisky and lemonade on my laptop and fried my hard drive!! .
As Ive told Vicki, so annoyed.....it was a full glass!!! .
Seriously though, hours of work lost as I didn't back up!....muppett!!!!.
Just checked on Chubbs video of the game. Apparently the unused sub v Padiham that day was Stuart Tulloch not Ryan Stewart.Just checked Gary Clarke''s match report on the club site and Stewart started. I'll check the archive and amend as appropriate the next time I pass the PC.
