ARE WITTON IN FREE FALL

After tonight's result it seems Witton are not the mayor team in Mid-Cheshire,they are not the mayor team on their own ground,but there again they can always put the rent up.
 
Glad we did not share with 1890 Witton Albion,they are already talking about putting the rent up next season,I thought they had made a three year agreement with their tenants?
 
Very strange one this.....
If Witton are concerned about JRFC being promoted and taking match priority at their ground, then why on earth would an increase in rent reduce that concern?
 
Presumably as compensation for losing priority and having to keep moving their matches. I imagine the fans won't like it that much though
 
Increased rent wouldn't impact on JRFC, in fact they may welcome it.......as their backers really must love investing their money in the club.....
 
Talk about having somebody over a barrel,I'm glad we are not in the same situation.
 
Having 'got into' the ground I wonder how long it will be before JR is trying to buy Warrender's shares either under his name or through a'friend'?
Looking at the current events in local football (including us) is better than any prime time soap opera on mainstream TV!

Its called planning, managing your resources for the long term coupled with sustainability and being accountable to the owners of the Club and the people and businesses of the local community who are the lifeblood of any sports club.

Fame again mention on the 1890 Witton forum(they say the nicest things)they say I could send a glass eye to sleep(how did they know I have a glass eye?) but
that's better than watching a team that sends the fans to sleep.
 
The Old town derby has pretty much gone. It's 1874 and the Red Shite. The Vics still have the odd few who go down, but crowds of 150, for a top of the table team? Forza 1874
 
1890 Witton must be very pleased with the crumb of publicity they are getting on the coat tails of Vics,and Vics must be over the moon with Witton enabling them to do it.
 
According to National T.V. Vics are playing back on their own ground,that did't take long for 1890 Witton to be swamped under the publicity of 1890 Vics.
