Social Fund raising - sporting dinners fao Toddy

Toddy!
Do you still have that framed Billy Meredith Football Card collection that I salvaged from the VS?
Would be a cracking edition to a Sportsman's Dinner auction.
 
Tony I am sure a sportsman's would be a good idea but we would need help to organize it as we have no experience at these sort of events.Is there anyone who could advise and help with it?
 
Hi Peter - I'm taking the liberty of answering your question on Toddy's behalf: Sportsman Dinners are in our plans but very much on the back burner at present. Whilst they take a lot of organising (and we will be capable of doing this) they do depend on a suitable venue and ideally money is made from good bar sales ( something that we won't benefit from at present). Sportsman and Comedian obviously cost a fair bit too and all things considered,at present, other fundraising ideas seem better.

But never say never. I am sure that SD's will take place at some time in the future
