Is Gannon really this thick?

Gannon should stick to his on the field of play comments and stay well clear of any Rushe/Nuttall propaganda, stay ways, silent majority and now lost fans.... PMSL.

Complete lack of understanding. I wonder if Gannon wonders where his pay comes from? I do think Vic's attendances will increase, but we all know somewhere along the line the next crisis/bad news story will come. What I don't understand is how the club had squirmed out of all the money it owes people completely unscathed??

I think that we need to understand that Jim Gannon probably has little understanding or knowledge of the current situation that JRFC finds itself in, the recent 'history' of JRFC and of 1874's existence.
And why should he?
After all, he is only 'the hired hand' and that at some stage in our careers we've all probably been employed by someone / some body that we've had doubts about / been uncomfortable with. But irrespective of this, we've been prepared to do so 'cos we need to pay the mortgage, bills etc etc.
Have to say that from all I hear about him from several different quarters, they all praise him as a coach, manager and a person. I'm sure that he's probably desperate to get a job back in 'mainstream' footy that suits his qualifications, knowledge and experience, and in doing so well with JRFC in difficult circumstances, he probably hasn't done himself and harm when it comes to being in the mix for other managerial positions.
Indeed, his success in leading JRFC to the top of the Evo-stick Div 1 N might result in a few 'suitors' being attracted to him.
If this turned out to be the case, then I'd be interested to see how his successor would fare, irrespective of the dosh that the JRFC magic fairy might be pulling out of their hat to support their current title push.
And as for his comments re 'wearing the Green and White Hoops with pride', this further reinforces the fact that he knows nothing about the true history of NVFC.
The hoops were introduced by 'The Walrus' and have no place in the previous history of what was a once proud club.
The colours that 1874 have adopted are the true colours of the Vics in the same way that 1874 is the true soul of Vics.

Vics Original colours were Red and White Faticus Winch, I was wondering why Mr Chubbs was supporting Witton the other night. Nobody with the heart and soul of Vics would want Vics to lose against Witton.

I must admit that JRFC have the best fan base they could ever ask for. Fans that don't ask questions or demand answers, fans that defend morally and financially bankrupt owners of this insolvent private business.

Colon - If you are going to try to get one over on me re our respective knowledge of all things NVFC, then might I suggest that;
i) You try to stay off the sauce (you clearly have a problem with this)
ii) You get your facts right.
FYI, according to ATFAS - which I know first hand that Ken researched assiduously - Vics first colours were 'black and red horizontal stripes' (I think that most people call these hoops!). P10 of this fabulous tome confirms this.
It is not clear when Green was adopted as the 'standard' colour for the club, but even in the period after the Great War Vics appeared in colours other than Green. Indeed, in the 70's they even played in Tangerine for a while!
What is certain is that Green, Black and White have been long-standing colours of Vics. Indeed, the current 1874 kit is almost identical to that which Vics wore when they beat Watford in the 3rd Round of the FA Cup in January 1977 and in the 2nd Round replay in 1999 v Leyton Orient (and in several other seasons).
As I stated earlier. Green and White hoops were NEVER the colours of NVFC until the shyster and conman Connett arrived. Says a lot that JRFC have chosen to retain the same strip.
Oh, and P.S. we are all absolutely delighted that our club has nothing to do with the corrupt club that is JRFC. Best thing we ever did.
And if proof be needed, the fact that we took more away to West Didsbury than Corrupt FC attracted to the first Witton - Vics derby for 20+ years says it all.
The silent majority have clearly remained exactly that. Silent.

I was cheering Vics on when you were sucking your thumb.
What you cheer on is not Vics, its a souless club, it's the plaything of a select few, hence your aversion to anyone you don't know who says he is a vics fan ala DDH.
I have no more love for Witton than any other local club. I do however bloody hate your grubby little club with a passion akin to a spouse who has found out their previous love has been leading them down the garden path for ten years or more.
