Not me Kit but due diligence!

;)

I'll also say that Witton fans are chasing their own tails with those figures but rather than point them in the right direction I think it's more beneficial for them to work it out for themselves.

I think what Tony has uncovered, looking at the dates on the ccj list, is that despite JRFC being taken to court over debts and "losing" the case they still take some time to pay. I would imagine all these historical debts are now paid, otherwise the claimants would have applied to the high court to have the judgment enforced. I think it just shows that JRFC have failed to pay their creditors and even when they are "forced to" by a ccj they choose not to pay within the courts time limit. Just heaping more misery on the poor souls that trusted them with credit......no surprises to any of us.

I think the main problem for Creditors and Bailiff's is finding a JRFC principle trading address, that is actually a 'trading' address.

Shouldn't be a problem now that they're settled in at Wincham Park for the next 3 years.

Good point Tony, hopefully the "homecoming" party will help any creditors and bailiffs find them. So perhaps a bit of an own goal !?!?!?Although in my experience Bailiffs seem quite resourceful in tracking people down.......

There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition and it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination. It is an area which we call the Witton Zone.

You are about to enter another dimension. A dimension not of sight or sound but of blindness and silence. A journey into a wondrous land of delusion and ignorance.
Next stop is, the JRFC Zone!

Not really, I would imagine it went along the lines of:

Knock knock, enforcement officer, I'm here to seize all your company assets.
What do you mean you have none sir? Oh well, see you in six months when the next poor sod tries this on.

I am astonished that none of the questions being asked on this and Wittons forum are being asked on the JRFC forum.
It seems that all they are concerned with is abusing other clubs facilities and fans or the price of a pint at Witton.
I would have thought that as taxpayers themselves do they not have any interest in the tax affairs of JRFC?

They know no different, besides their opinions mean nothing and count for nothing.

No voice, no vote, NO CHOICE but to accept the situation and the consequences by fully backing the club without question or condemnation.

They do not realise the damage that is caused by constant unpaid bills/debts that result in CCJ's and WuP to Rushe's 'private' business because it is the norm.

Beggars belief that every time these WuP are issued, they remain silent until they are settled, then celebrate as if its a victory by thanking the accountants who's job it is to prevent this kind of 'behaviour'.

CRACKERS!

Given a total forum membership of 33, which will no doubt include fans of other clubs, I don't find it in the least surprising. No doubt membership will mushroom once locals start flooding back through the turnstiles at WP.

Another slap in the face for Creditors. How on earth can a club with CCJ's and a current WuP afford this, unless its a freebie?

JRFC and their current group of hangers on are completely shameless, I agree with Tony, the moment they wriggle out of it they will be celebrating with smug satisfaction. The club is a disgrace. The fans that continue to justify their support are a disgrace.

I suppose the obvious question (which no doubt you guys have been through many times before) is why are the FA or even the Evo-Stick league not looking into the way the club is run and doing something about it??? It is a slap in the face to all the other clubs throughout the land run properly and fairly and makes a complete mockery of the FA's "fair play" campaign which they seem so keen to promote, at least at the top level anyway.

Paul I agree with you. One day they will get found out and I can see this day being in the next year or so. Whoever is bankrolling this operation cannot surely come up with the sort of money that is being sought now. The thing is they have no assets to seize so nobody is going to get any money from the club or JR. We need the authorities to put them out of business and expel them from the league. The whole thing puts football to shame and honest clubs in non-league whether run by the fans or legitimately as a company are struggling to make ends meet ask Witton! I do not agree with the ground share on moral grounds but can see why they have taken the difficult decision to keep the asset they have making money. It's just that it's dirty money!!

What is happening with JRFC is not uncommon in other areas of business. The rules designed to run (in this case) an efficient football league are JUST being observed by them and manipulated to their advantage. Unfair though it seems it is the rules that will decide what happens not the morality of the situation. That is why all those 'dry' and boring meetings that take place as a new organisation is set up are important and why we should attend AGM's etc and hold the directors to account.
Like Alan I don't blame witton for taking the rent - they would be stupid not to if they need the money. I also think it highly likely that JRFC's time there will be comparatively short because when we are more established and hopefully have gained another promotion then we should be able to afford rent there and witton know there is much more in it for them. It would probably suit both clubs until we get our own ground.
JRFC to Winsford at that point if they're still going? Or Flixton, Droylsden, Lancaster, Penzance, Berwick.......... I could go on!
But won't. :D

Pete.

I think that you are missing a most important point and that as Alan Riding points out it is the source of the money.

I suspect we all have our suspicions on the motives of JRFCs mystery backers, however there is an ethical, civic, financial and potentially legal aspect to the financing of JRFC which extends far beyond and has far more importance than sport and for Witton just to "take the money" is not a viable defence and which may come back to haunt them.

If the source of the money was known and was criminal then the police would be dealing with it. For all I know they have probably investigated. So, the reality is we have suspicions about the money not proof - maybe the same as the police? Therefore, frustrating though it is we have to assume innocent until proven guilty. I'm sure the football authorities are just as frustrated as we are. JR has few friends, just a few sycophants and good lawyers.

Noticed JRFC (NVFC) 2004 is still 'in liquidation'.
After 3 years there's still no sign of it bring struck off and dissolved!

Strange, very strange in deed!
