Winsford Utd vs JRFC

Taking the mick a little bit. Especially with all the work we're doing to their ground.

I really like the line "Northwich Vics will be welcomed to Barton Stadium"

It's a good money spinner for both clubs to be honest.

Is this the other "big news" Colin and others have been referring to recently? If so, wow...

No business of ours who Winsford play preseason.
Hope they enjoy playing at the BS and pull in a crowd worthy of the two clubs.

Well there's a damned sight more people who come on here than on your forum so you're probably right, as for returning faces, lets just wait and see shall we.
On a related note, I was in the PB last Friday with my '74 top on and overheard a conversation at the bar after two chaps (who I didn't know from Adam) noticed what I was wearing. One says to the other "Whats happened to Vics then?" His mate says to him "Oh they are run by an wa**** so no-one goes anymore". Made me smile anyway.;)

I think that might be considered spam Colin :)

Off topic posting. Warning issued.
Oh you should of interrupted them chubbs and asked them if they could of cleared vics £1.3m debt which mr c left vics with and found a further £1.5m to buy the ground in a few years plus afford to the circa £100,000k per year running costs of the ground (rent, rates, leccy, water, pitch and grounds maintenance costs etc)

Colon on the back foot always resorts to the Nuttall/Rushe conspiracy theory when losing arguments/debates. PMSL

If you really believe he us doing all this then why? For the love of the club? Even if he did build you a ground it wouldn't belong to Vics, the only thing that ever seems to belong to Vics is the debt that is racked up and not paid.

Why are we still talking about Vics on here time to move on,and ban Colin and Co off our site.Never mind it being open to all some of us are getting a bit fed up of reading their crap.

Agree, he has no reason to post here other than to spout his lies. Time to move on and ban him.

That's the $64,000 question isn't it, why?
What person in their right mind would chuck that amount of "their own" money at a failing business? The figures just do not add up in any sane manner.

And there is STILL no word about their latest episode of courtroom drama either officially or from their minions on their little forum. Come on Colin are you not completely tee'd off with all this by now? Vics must have the record for winding up orders for a footy club by now.
"Infamy, infamy, they've all got it in for me"
Except that all, ALL of their problems are of their own doing. To retort by saying "well could YOU have raised such and such amount" is not an arguement, no we couldn't, but neither has he, has he Colin? Failing businesses fail and go to the wall every day, that is commerce, that is life. Right minded people accept that and, like us, move on and try to build a better model.
People like Colin, refuse to accept the reality and cling on because they can't believe that someone in a position of power would lie to them about something they obviously care about, and will blithely follow to the end of days.

Disagree Toddy, this is the "other football" section and a valid thread about an interesting point.
As for Colin, as has been said, he serves to remind us all about why we started our club and I thank him for it. When he starts spouting the same old drivel about how much a certain individual has done for them but forgets to point out just how much more has been lost on that same individuals watch, it makes me smile.
I've been smiling a lot of late!;)
